TD Bank's Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending organization offers consumer credit in three areas: TD-branded credit cards and personal loans; retail sales financing programs through TD Retail Card Services; and co-branded and private label card partnerships. Our credit cards are distributed through our East Coast retail store network and nationally through hundreds of partnership programs with retailers and other third-party organizations.

Job Requirements:
Conducts research, analysis and prepares briefings, coordinating communication efforts (presentations, media relations and public relations), anticipating and managing both short term and longer term objectives/outcomes/initiatives and maintaining a current understanding of TDBG strategies and direction
Provides expertise and supports the planning and the decision support process for a broad and diverse portfolio of activities, coordinating with a variety of internal stakeholders on behalf of the executive
Organizes and participates in management committees and/or similar forums providing necessary research, analysis and recommendations for planning and decision support purposes on behalf of the executive
Provides the executive with an overview of key management information, discussions and/or business issues in advance of business meetings and events, co-ordinate follow-up on outstanding issues as required
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with leaders, business heads and partners across the business/function and other corporate functions
Ensures executive is briefed and prepared in advance of meetings and presentations; agendas and invitees assembled, pre-read material prepared and distributed in consultation with TDBG executives, minutes or previous discussions prepared and distributed
Reviews/summarizes key discussions and/or business issues in advance
Identifies issues requiring research or analysis, determines solutions directly or in consultation with relevant functional/business heads, other internal/external groups as necessary, provides meaningful insight/information in response to issues/questions raised
Supports development and tracking of milestones and other performance management tools and processes - provides summary reports on progress for executive consideration
Supports preparation and delivery of Board-level related materials, financial analysis, coordinating communication efforts, anticipating and managing short term and longer term business/functional objectives or outcomes
Maintains strong organizational awareness and a current understanding of TDBG priorities and overall TDBG strategies and direction
Provides operational support and/or optimize on process improvement s as appropriate
Provides support to any working groups tasked with deliverables from these activities

Job Description:
The Strategy and Planning Senior Manager provides a diverse range of analytical research, strategic and/or operational support and acts as the representative of the executive on a broad range of matters as assigned. The position requires a highly effective communicator with expertise in providing decision support and insight to senior leaders, and discreetly managing matters that are both sensitive and highly confidential in nature.
Core Responsibilities:
-\tWill become the strategic partner to Head of the PMD team, will own the 12-24 month rolling roadmap for the US Cards Delivery Team at TD
-\tNeeds to be a strong team leader, able to set a vision for the team and execute accordingly
-\tWill collaborate closely with our LOB partners to understand their business strategies and drive their goals to tangible results
-\tWill oversee the intake, prioritization, and capacity planning, for the CCUL Delivery team
-\tDevelop Change Management routines, constantly assessing gaps and improving performance
-\tBuild Project Delivery Governance, establish KPI's and track achievements
-\tAbility to have fun and get stuff done

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7 + years of experience
Seasoned professional who can demonstrate relationship management breadth and influence in leading, planning and executing strategic initiatives
Proven track record for success having demonstrated the ability to take independent action to achieve results
Demonstrates experience in managing multiple and/or complex issues with a high level of organizational awareness
Strong relationship, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to negotiate and facilitate at multiple levels within the business
Strong analysis and problem solving skills as well as proven time management and organizational capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizational awareness and understanding of company's programs/polices
Familiarity with the “Project Management Methodology” having managed or participated in a multitude of projects an asset
Preferred Qualifications
-\tRequires excellent people skills, collaborating across teams and ability to have difficult discussions when necessary
-\tArticulate, creative,
-\tAgile, Waterfall, JIRA, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint MS Project
-\tRoadmapping experience a must!
