Job Description:
About This Role
We are looking for someone to lead a team of ambitious technology professionals as we deliver a modern enterprise-wide API management solutions. You'll also have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and leadership beyond your immediate team. Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Analysis and Project Management.
Ensure all aspects of the development life cycle specific to building/ integrating applications are followed while maintaining consistent with overall design
Support the delivery of Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid Gateway across multiple hosting platforms
Review code written by developers for coding standards, design compliance, adherence to architectural policies, etc.
Participate in deploying code through GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
Provide support and guidance for API developers and framework users
Design, develop and deploy on GCP and Azure Paas and container services.
Design and develop node and Java solutions for security like encryption/decryption, attribute-based access control (ABAC), Open Policy (OPA) and integrating API management platform with other enterprise tools.
Provide expertise and support for API development and implementation
Job Requirements:

Graduate Degree, Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
10+ years relevant experience. Knowledge of the following: Java, NodeJS, Angular, HTTP, PKI, X509 Certificates, JWT, JWE, JWS, JWKS. Scripting Languages, e.g. Python, Node, Groovy, etc, used for File transformations, API calls, reporting Core development tools. GitHub, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, Maven, npm, etc. RESTful API design, implementation, usage. Network engineering: Proxies, Firewalls, DNS and Load balancers (F5).
Hands on experience with Apigee X, Apigee Edge or Apigee Hybrid Gateways
Good understanding of Google Public Cloud (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC)
Good knowledge and understanding of businesses and/or organizational practices and disciplines.
Expert knowledge of technical environments and tools (e.g., user environment, applications, software, hardware, programming languages and operating systems), business processes/procedures at organizational level.
Relevant experience with Application Security considerations for Integration Technologies; including knowledge of Industry standards and trends.
Expert knowledge of business processes and procedures, as well as broader organizational issues and technology.
Readiness to work independently in a senior and lead role on a diverse range of tasks and coach others effectively.
