With your wealth of experience with data and insights, you'll act as a top advisor to your business partners and contacts across TD. Your goal? Work positively and professionally with your partners to inspire world-class, comprehensive analytical support. As a subject matter expert on the subject, TD will look to your interpretation of vast and complex data in the form of ongoing, multidimensional insights and relevant data analysis. You'll use all the analytics tools at your disposal – including profiling tools, segmentation and advanced modelling and analytics – to add new dimension and drive to TD's business growth and value. Finally, you own your space and are at the top of your game when it comes to relationship building, which will be key in your partnerships across the organization.

We are looking for someone to lead and cultivate a sizeable team of Business Insights & Analytics professionals/specialists.

As a Senior Advisor, Business Insights, you will:

  • Work closely with business partners to gain deep understanding of the business and relevant objectives in order help drive the strategic direction of respective business and/or the enterprise

  • Formulate relevant data analysis through comprehensive profiling tools, segmentation, as well as using advanced modeling and analytics

  • Lead on the interpretation of complex business issues, generate multifaceted insights and find opportunities to help drive business growth or address business/enterprise needs

  • Ensure team collaboration with partners on business problems/issues and provide fact-based analytical advice that aligns to strategy and drives shareholder value

  • Generally accountable for a significant business or area that has cross business or enterprise wide impact or accountability

  • Enterprise domain/ functional expert, requiring broad managerial and deep specialized knowledge at the enterprise, business, regulatory and industry levels

  • Undertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross functional processes

  • Present and communicate generated insights and recommended business actions to stakeholders/ business leaders in an easily digestible manner

  • Act as the primary contact with business to bridge and translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs for a given domain/business

  • Apply positive relationship management efforts to constructively influence and inspire working partners where appropriate

  • Serve as an authority on a given business domain and provide business expertise to place context around analytics discovery and inform recommendations

  • Raise data/process related problems and communicate to relevant teams in a timely manner and make recommendations for resolution

  • Provides day-to-day support and delivery of analytics

  • Build insights solutions end to end (from initial demand to results/recommendation presentation) ranging in complexity

  • Enhance analytics capability by developing a “best-in-class” analytics team that delivers meaningful insights that drive measurable business value. Help make analytics a competitive advantage for TD.

  • Oversee strategies to attract, motivate and retain a highly diverse, qualified and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs, creating and sustaining a high performing inclusive culture

  • Navigate complex organizational boundaries, stakeholder management, develop, manage and deliver on project/program plans
