Job Description:
The ServiceNow Platform Solution Architect for Data Management will be responsible for building, developing, designing, and implementing enterprise data sets and ensuring all new implementations and integrations do not detriment the performance of the system. This role is responsible for data strategy, integration and mapping across ServiceNow capabilities, and will be a key point of contact across Technology Services for common data elements and planning and will be accountable for implementation of Common Service Data Model within the platform.
The resource will review data requirements for new integrations and ensure all data requirements are aligned with the ServiceNow data model to ensure no impact to the ServiceNow platform at large. The Platform/Data Solution Architect will be critical in organization wide capability implementations such as Application Portfolio Management and other business critical applications to ensure cross-organizational governance of data and its quality is effective.
Job Description:
Accountable for governing common data element usage across all platform capabilities (ie Change, Incident, Problem, 200+ Requests, CMDB, SecOps etc etc) and integrating solutions
Work with Solution Architecture to leverage ServiceNow capabilities in supporting NEW Organizational Hierarchy (ie CSDM, APM)
Platform Service Owner for Common Service Data Model capability, be a key Enterprise SME for Application Portfolio Management
Accountable for all ServiceNow integrations, ensuring no impacts from increased changes on the platform (user licenses, product licenses, storage requirements etc.)
Map out ServiceNow platform data dependencies for all processes and platform data models to ensure no upstream or downstream data impacts to the ServiceNow platform
Review all new product and process introductions against the known data models to ensure alignment to existing data models or define new ones.
Reduce data cost while improving data quality by working with the process owners to drive improvements
Develop and maintain data retention policies ensuring execution of the same.
Oversee data acquisition, analysis process, help boost data analytics delivery efficiency and quality.
Job Requirements
Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
ServiceNow CSA certification is required, CTA designation is preferred
10+ years technical experience.
Expert knowledge of technical environments and tools (e.g., user environment, applications, software, hardware, programming languages and operating systems), business processes/procedures at organizational level.
Advanced knowledge of business, standards, infrastructure, architecture and technology from a design/support/ solutions perspective.
Primary matter expertise in multiple areas, strength in consulting on all aspects of research, data analysis, design, hardware/software support, development, testing.
Readiness to work independently in a senior and lead role on a diverse range of tasks and coach others effectively.
Dedicated mindset for introducing standards and best practices that ensure data is accurate, complete, current, understandable, and accessible.
Fresh, innovative thinking when it comes to building data management capabilities, leverage as a competitive advantage.
