Job Description:
The Integrated Marketing Planning team is responsible for partnering with the business units and channels within TD to create and execute world class marketing plans that drive shareholder value and increase customer loyalty. The team owns consumer insights, monitoring trends, building marketing strategies and plans, developing, and executing integrated marketing campaigns, management and allocation of the marketing budget, and measuring/improving in market results. As a key business partner, acts as a key consultant to the business on all aspects of marketing, influencing the business strategy, as well as ensuring that the TD brand is protected.
Job Description:
Reporting to Senior Marketing Manager, Business Banking, we're looking for a Marketing Manager, Planning Business Banking to collaborate with a team of marketing professionals in the development and delivery of effective integrated marketing strategies, plans and campaigns. You will be responsible for providing marketing and project leadership to the team, function and assigned portfolio(s). Furthermore, you will:
Key Deliverables:
Creating Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Leverages existing views of the target audience, including demographic, attitudinal, and behavioral data to create campaign kick offs and briefs. Translates marketing objectives and consumer insights into communication strategy (benefit, offer, reason to believe “RTB” or proof points). Creates or contributes to an inspiring creative brief for media and creative agencies. Understands role of different media options and oversees flawless execution tactical media and creative, targeted and channel marketing plans.
Deliver and Monitor Results: Ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan (monitor/ early indicators) and where required, take corrective actions to achieve targets. Analyze past results and make recommendations to maximize ROI. Evaluate effectiveness of in market activity - PIR (including recommendations).
Budget and Project Management: Leverages the best practices of ABEDO to manage projects in the most effective way (on time, on target, on budget) from initiation to completion. Able to navigate through roadblocks by engaging key stakeholders/sponsors. Leads multi-functional teams through the project. Track and manage budget against plan, meeting all financial reporting requirements.
Analysis and Problem Solving: Defines the problem to solve, engages resources across functional boundaries to gather data and insight, draws insight from data, making correlations and connections to deliver meaning from disparate sources of data. Leverages data combined with judgement and intuition to make recommendations and drive action.
Job Requirements:
Expertise in Business Banking, including Business to Business and Business to Consumer an asset.
Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required. 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience in data measurement methodologies, including consumer and product research.
Telling our Story – ability to effectively communicate the results and sell the value of marketing.
A strategic thinker with advanced knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, line of business management.
A compassionate team leader who strives to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program activities to ensure completion and achievement of results.
Expertise in project management and methodologies to handle projects with large scope.
An influencer and negotiator to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
