Job Description:

The Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) Group is TD Wealth's content centre of excellence,

responsible for developing editorial and strategic content that highlights the depth and breadth

of TD Wealth expertise and showcases our thought leadership to TD clients and the world. The

team is comprised of talented content professionals who bring together their editorial,

production, creative and technical expertise to create industry-leading financial content across

digital and broadcast streams. SEC properties include: MoneyTalk "Brought to you by TD,"

available at www.moneytalkgo.com and distributed across multiple TD ecosystems, MoneyTalk

Live, streamed daily through TD WebBroker, and MoneyTalk on BNN Bloomberg, broadcast

weekly on CTV properties, as well as live and original programming on multiple radio stations

and various social channels each week.

We're looking for a talented Creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about how people experience content, wants to move quickly from ideas to delivery, and builds and leads processes to work with all collaborators, partners and stakeholders.

The Role: Art Director, Creative Services

We are seeking for a seasoned hands-on Art Director to work closely with our editorial producers, writers, senior designers & illustrators, developers, and videographers. The ideal candidate will combine leadership and creativity with business acumen to positively impact our strategic client communication and maintain our visual communication to the highest industry standards, highly engaging, efficient, and effective.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Astute storyteller comfortable using any mediums at any stage of the creative development.

  • Expert knowledge of media industry standard tools 2D, 3D, and real-time graphics

  • Demonstrated strengths in impacting and influencing stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in an agile management environment.

  • Oversee the visual developments of our financial concepts, create financial digital stories and experiences for all our properties, on multiple platforms.

  • Design editorially driven infographics, and interactive digital stories.

  • Ensure visual continuity of our productions across all mediums.

  • Provide advanced creative hands-on services for live productions, web, broadcast, social, and postproduction.

  • Broadcast graphics design for videos and studio large digital display (70' x 8')

  • Foster a culture of mentorship and collaboration.

  • Execute Internal interactive presentations.

  • Own the project lifecycle: including discovery, storyboarding, initial assessment, solution definition, negotiation of key partnerships, development of creative, execution, measurement, and reporting.

  • Self-manage resource, timelines, and changes within and outside all projects.

You are :

  • Seasoned creative mind with 10+ years of experience in various parts of media industry preferable brand, broadcast and digital magazines

  • Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, or Fine Arts

  • Natural creative leader

  • Comfortable with very tight timelines

  • Able to juggle multiple creative projects in the same time.

  • Passionate about design trends

  • Long-term business relationships builder

Core Skills:

  • Financial industry communication expertise is an asset.

  • Industry awards winner is an asset.

  • Comfortable with editorial photography and business headshots is an asset.

  • Expert knowledge in processes for digital publications, graphic design, web, print

  • Expert knowledge in creative development,

  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, tablets, Photoshop, InDesign,) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint--including creating graphs, Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Video production and editing expertise is an asset

  • Expert knowledge in both Windows and Mac environments
