Job Description:

TD Business Banking provides financial solutions to Canadian businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.

The Fund my Business job family is responsible for the strategy of modernizing the business customer borrowing experience, delivering on the business customer's borrowing needs and supporting the management and growth of our business customers through delivery of competitive and customized lending solutions.

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager/Pod Product Owner (Leverage Data as a Strategic Asset), this role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a new credit decision support capability within Business Banking with the objective of reducing time to decision and loan funding while maintaining sound risk management and compliance.

Accountabilities

  • Interest in learning about Commercial Lending and how predictive models can be integrated into business processes to gain operational efficiency and improve risk management.

  • Interest in joining a fast-paced, complex project, and a willingness to engage and learn about all aspects of project management including working with business partner teams such as risk management, technology platforms, data, predictive modeling, and operations.

  • Assist with all aspects of program and project management including support for pilot execution including data gathering, data entry, requirements gathering, documentation, data analysis, report preparation, and more.

  • Gather and document application change requirements for partners including technology platform teams.

  • Gather and document requirements and support the development of reporting and visualizations for ongoing program management.

  • Willingness and ability to take the lead and drive forward smaller projects to completion.

  • Produce high quality work and deliver on commitments.

  • Work with partner teams to ensure timely delivery on commitments.

  • Support status reporting, communication, and deliverables on initiatives.

  • Support development of presentations and sharing of information.

  • Build effective relationships with team members and key business stakeholders.

  • Understand and contribute to department objectives.

  • Participate fully as a member of the team and support a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, quality, and innovation. Ensure timely communication of issues / points of interest.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in business

  • Experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

  • Skilled in using analytical tools and techniques

  • Strong business communication skills

  • Self-starter and a bias for action

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience with data analysis and tools

  • Experience with project management
