Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; Post graduate degree or advanced courses in business management or technology related field or equivalent business experience strongly preferred

10+ years of related experience

Experience leading key infrastructure delivery functions such as compute, network, and workspace in large scale environments

Infrastructure leadership experience in one or more functions

Experience in building a new teams and new functions, and applying an organization change management discipline

Experience reporting to and communicating with executive stakeholders (e.g. VP, SVP, EVP level executives)

Proven ability to collaborate across a large organization to effectively realize outcomes

Experience leading transformational change

Experience managing regulatory / compliance requirements

History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term

Proven ability to leverage deep subject matter expertise to develop and deploy a vision and align others to that vision. Known for providing creative thought leadership while also listening and engaging others to provide input in the shaping of that vision

Passionate to succeed and acts as an internal advocate for projects; remains resilient under pressure

Demonstrates ability to manage communication to satisfy the needs of and resolve issues with project portfolio stakeholders manages conflict and gains stakeholder trust to foster good relations

Job Description:

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required

Leads the delivery of infrastructure components on client driven initiatives. The Segment technology delivery teams are comprised of a number of teams / disciplines including:

Planning leads - work closely with their respective LOBs to understand work plans / forecasts ensuring we are positioned to meet demand, and share usage, currency and financial information

Project Management Project Delivery leads will work closely with sponsoring TS-PMs to own and deliver on the infrastructure work stream/components of the project

The Infrastructure Design teams will ensure we design to existing standards while achieving business requirements

Application Release Management will deploy and test new and changed components into the various environments, and handing over high quality systems to production for ongoing operations

Workspace/Field Services deliver US based specific workspace support and field services

Other legacy teams deliver other support services that are specific to the US requirements (e.g. Loan Loss systems)

Oversees all sponsored projects for the supporting LOB and ensures all infrastructure needs are fulfilled, while managing risk to the enterprise and ensuring all quality and availability requirements are achieved

Ensures alignment with department functions to strategic enterprise initiatives such as IT3.0 Information Excellence, Cloud, etc.

Works closely with the LOB Senior Management Team to understand business priorities

Executes all projects adhering to both PMLC / SDLC methodologies

Ensures Infrastructure designs adhere to standards issued from Infrastructure Engineering

Builds detailed Infrastructure Master Project Plans and ensures the teams track to plan

Provides Financial Estimates and Forecasts for every project and measures actuals against forecasts to ensure we remain within tolerance levels

Ensures all non-functional and operational requirements are built into designs and project plans

Identifies and works on process improvements simplification, automation for the departments functions in order to gain efficiencies and improve quality

Performs all Database (SQL, Oracle, etc..) and middleware (WAS, JBOSS, etc..) personalization

Performs application deployments into the various test environments and production

Accountable for all non-functional operability testing negative / monitoring / fallback / etc., ensuring all requirements are achieved before production deployment

Builds operational documentation ensuring the Operations area is equipped for ongoing support

Adheres to change management disciplines and ensures we provide appropriate awareness for changes being implemented
