Job Description:

The Associate DCM is responsible to contribute to the strategic development of the banks Debt Capital Markets Originations business in the U.S.A., ensuring underwriting positions and swap exposures are within approved limits, while maintaining and enhancing the Banks profile and market share.

Depth & Scope:

•\tEnsures that underwriting positions and swap exposures are within approved limits

•\tConsults closely with the bank’s other operations in Canada, Europe, Asia Pacific and the U.S. to assist in meeting the firm’s objectives

•\tObserves strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firm's procedures

•\tUnderstands and complies with TD Securities (USA) Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner

•\tProvides expert knowledge on market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory

•\tStandards, to assist in maximizing profitability through sound business decisions

•\tDevelops and maintains contacts with market participants and as a key syndicate contact is responsible for supplying market information to partners with the TD global DCM group

•\tResponsible for communicating bank policy information and recommending strategies between your product head and relevant DCM personnel

•\tDemonstrates governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices

Education & Experience:

•\tUndergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics

•\tSeries 7 and 63

•\t3+ Years of related experience

•\tMust be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills

•\tMust be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
