Technical lead and Senior C#/.Net Core Infrastructure Developer

Develop the middleware and server side core infrastructure in C#/.Net as part of the next generation Valuation platform for the Treasury business

The Treasury Analytics team is responsible for measurement and management of market risk (interest rate and foreign exchange) for the Bank's retail portfolios. The team develops financial models and processes required for measuring, transfer pricing, hedging product profitability, and financial management reporting

The Treasury Analytics Group is building a brand new strategic platform for risk, valuations and analytics to meet the growing and future needs of the department. The platform is being built on cutting edge technologies including Big Data and NoSQL databases(Hadoop, Hbase, Hive, Spark) and extends to distributed analytics services and a high performance compute cluster in C#/.Net on Windows. The platform is being built to deliver highly scalable, responsive and low latency valuations and analytics to the business.

Job Requirements

This is technical lead role with hands on development. The candidate will drive the effort to build the framework of .Net services providing a distributed computing infrastructure for business analytics, model valuations using the High Performance Computing (HPC) grid. These services will also integrate with and extend the Big Data analytics platform.

This is a great opportunity to work with Big Data technologies like SPARK and Hadoop as well as other cutting edge technologies. The candidate will also need to build some web UI's to expose business functionality and administer and maintain the platform

The ideal candidate will have very strong computer science fundamentals with a strong background in building highly responsive, low latency applications in C# and .Net (minimum 5 years experience). The candidate should be very familiar with building multi-threaded applications, and distributed messaging platforms like Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Tibco etc. The candidate should also be very familiar with using and developing rest api's and connecting to SQL databases (SQL Server). Experience with Big Data and NoSQL technologies like Hbase and Hive is very desirable. Experience with web UI's and AngularJS is desirable

Education Requirement: Bachelors degree

C#/.Net Development: 5 Years

Other requirements: Distributed frameworks (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
