Performs variety of activities for an LOB designed to support, enhance and increase overall sales performance according to established Company policies and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines
Ensures loans are closed without material, administrative or compliance exceptions
Ensures that all required loan conditions (insurance, collateral, etc.) are sufficient and properly documented and in compliance with bank policy
Orders and maintains loan documentation from beginning to finish ensuring adherence with compliance, bank policy, procedures, regulatory requirements and lending conditions
Ensures complete and accurate data input into the origination system assisting the preparation of loan documentation.
Prepares the SBA loan authorization in accordance with SBA requirements and includes all of the conditions of the loan approval and commitment letter
Maintains a working knowledge of all SBA requirements relative to loan eligibility and documentation and keeps up-to-date on all changes
Ensures the loan is disbursed in compliance with the SBA authorization, with increased scrutiny regarding the use of proceeds and capital injection requirements
Maintains appropriate records, databases and information relating to assigned programs and projects according to procedures; works with more experienced personnel, management and others on project status and updates
Performs QC function to help ensure data and loan integrity
Assists sales force as necessary, answering questions from staff and customers, providing information and providing other support as appropriate
Works directly with Customer and account officer to complete loan closing items
Participates in evaluating effectiveness of programs and initiatives; receives feedback from various LOB areas and passes information on to others as necessary
May be required to perform other duties as deemed necessary by management
Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.

The SBA Express Specialist II functions in a multifaceted role, being responsible for determining and ensuring SBA eligibility, as well as being the single point of contact that supports Small Business Banking lending officers, Store personnel and external Customers. The SBA Express Specialist II is directly responsible for ensuring that both SBA Enhancement eligibility and the guaranty are maintained, as well as assigning and ensuring that Conditions of Lending and the Conditions of Closing have been met.

Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
2-4 Years of related experience
Fundamental knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) lending and the SBA SOP
Strong knowledge of sales support and effective sales enhancement techniques within the industry
Strong analytical and evaluative skills with ability to contribute to the measurement of program performance
