Job Description:

Portfolio Director Executive oversees and leads a team of Program and/or Project Managers with accountability for delivering programs and/or projects assigned to a specific portfolio. Portfolios can be comprised of a broad group or collection of initiatives that are not necessarily

interdependent but bound by efforts to meet strategic organizational goals, business objectives or aligned by key business leaders.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Manage organization that supports all of USTS in project delivery

• Manage and report on metrics related to project and portfolio health, to include forecast accuracy, delivery challenge trends, health status commentary, risk and issue management, value delivery

•\tStaffing strategy, hiring and retention of top talent in support of project management roles (Delivery Lead, Project Manager) to support Tech-Sponsored US projects, and well as Business-Sponsored projects with technology delivery components.

•\tMaintain and Improve the Project Management practice: education, coaching, setting expectations, lessons learned.

•\tProvide meaningful insights and actions to improve project delivery overall (technology and non-technology components) to US executives (What, So What, What Next) . Support the Greg Keeley Tech Portfolio Review Process

•\tEnsure our CIO and Delegates are prepared for all US-wide project and portfolio discussions (PIC and others), and provide information that can be effective challenge to project tranche approvals and prioritization forums

•\tEnsure all Tech approvals (CIO and others) are completed timely and accurately with appropriate traceability

•\tLead both the USTS PMO organization, and provide leadership across USTS for the Transformation to Agile and NEW: People, Process, Tools. Support and drive successful deployment of NEW into AMCB as the enterprise schedule outlines. Ensure transitions that have occurred (DaaS for AMCB) are operationally successful, and be part of solving problems that arise, with a focus on delivery.

•\tDrive improvements in our SDLC process: analyze, prioritize, and action specific areas that will drive better outcomes, and support faster to market.

•\tPartner with SPD to ensure all Project governance is managed to the standards set by EPDE and our CIO.

•\tTechnology governance experience, particularly with optimization of SDLC

•\tAbility to lead and motivate an organization, develop and implement staffing plans, and provide calm and thoughtful leadership

•\tExperience providing leadership through change, and ability to influence beyond own organizational boundaries

•\tAgile experience/exposure
