Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree or equivalent experience required

10+ years related experience required

PMP certification, Greenbelt / Blackbelt

Prior successful management experience in Regulatory environment

Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, improve and apply complex policies, processes and procedures

Solid understanding of Regulatory environment and its role in the business

Prior successful management experience in Regulatory environment

Ability to align strategy and business requirements into clear goals, motivate team performance, and achieve results

Strong collaboration skills and partnering with individual business units and throughout the organization

Demonstrated skill in facilitating and enabling rapid growth, both organic and by acquisition; this includes acquisition support, merger and integration, and change management

Experience supporting Business Lines and Corporate Functions, accomplished at navigating the content and complexities of supporting these functions in multiple jurisdictions

History of successful change management leadership and experience leading large teams

Effective negotiation and influencing skills

Advanced communication and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possess good organizational and time-management skills

Job Description:

The Head, AMCB Change Office position the bank for future growth and enhance the overall customer experience as well as to create transparency, manage optimal capacity management and execution risk. Ensure optimal AMCB portfolio prioritization of change and investments accordingly to AMCB priorities (including efforts requiring AMCB but sponsored by other business lines or enterprise functions). Ensure prudent change, project management and spend approval in line with AMCB and TDBG policies.

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required

Responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process e-engineering, establishment of control procedures) within this Infrastructure area

Develops and maintains the portfolio management, Project Management Methodology and IT governance plans and communicates to the client/line of business

Reviews and analyzes all proposed projects to ensure consistency with organization's strategic direction and departmental tactical goals; verifies that all projects add value to the organization and comply with governance and methodology requirements

Conducts scenario planning and analysis to justify the selection and relative risks involved with project and project prioritization; conducts long range portfolio and resource planning analysis to ensure sufficient resource and skill levels are available to meet projected demand

Demonstrates that the projects and timing in the portfolio are conducted within the capabilities/capacity of the department and organization

Develops the systems and processes to ensure that business, project and employee needs are met in the assignment of staff to projects.

Coordinates with resource managers for implementation

Ensures that corporate systems are in place to capture accurate project delivery true cost/benefit comparison project by project

Senior Executive oversight and management of the full US Project Investment Portfolio – inclusive of PIC, LOB & Corporate projects

Financial accountability for the PIC portfolio and management of approved budgets

Responsible for the US project governance process and adherence to TD Enterprise governance standards (EPMO), including SCOPE

Responsibility for developing and implementing change management plans for changes originated within the PDG

Ensures that the portfolio is correctly on-boarded, off-boarded and paced throughout the year, and all applicable KPIs and metrics are actively monitored and actioned

Supports strategic alliance as point of contact with business segment Heads and key Stakeholders

Partners with multiple Stakeholders to deliver against strategic and tactical solutions designed to drive revenue, efficiency and compliance
