Job Description

Support Development of procedural guidance and help with LOB adoption of data management tools/processes as mandated by OCDO, aligning to Enterprise data strategy

Job Requirements

• Experienced working professional role providing specialized business services, advisory or processes / program support within their own area of specialty

• Requires experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within their own specialty and knowledge of broader related areas

• Accountable for own work and sometimes others in the Data Governance network; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource for others in their own area

• Leads projects or work streams within broader projects with moderate risk and may be accountable for ongoing activities, processes and functional programs

• Works within broad guidelines / policies and independently performs tasks from end to end

• Solves moderately complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions

• Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

• Conveys business context when providing guidance within field of specialty to internal or external stakeholders

• Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision

• Identifies and leads problem resolution

• May support data related activities and analysis on LOB projects and initiatives

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate

• 3+ years relevant experience

• Good working knowledge of data management practices including Metadata, Data Quality and Reference data management, enterprise data policy, standards &strategy

• Good knowledge of, LOB data strategy, data risk management, and data life cycle management

• Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends

• Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques

• Skill in using computer applications including MS Office

• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships

• Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently

• Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions

• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
