Department Overview:

We are looking for someone to join us as we develop and implement policies, programs and tools related to TD Technology Controls and Information Security. We'll look to you to help provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risk and protect TD.

You may also be asked to participate in projects of moderate to high complexity and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level.

Job Requirements:

What will you need to succeed?

• 10+ years of experience as a full-time IT professional

• 3+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS

• Hands-on experience using the Azure administration portal

• Proven work experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure

• Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution in addition to Azure (e.g. Google, AWS, Helion Cloud, SoftLayer)

• Knowledgeable of Azure networking services and offerings, and best practices and patterns for Azure cloud-native network design, Azure firewall, azure private link, VPN gateways, Network Watcher and Azure Monitor

• Understanding of cloud tools and capabilities (SIEM, SOAR, EDR and similar) and integration requirements required to automate cloud on-boarding and ongoing security operations

• In-depth knowledge of cloud micro-segmentation and cloud network automation

• Must have extensive working experience with Microsoft technologies

• Comfortable working in PowerShell to configure Azure networking components

• Knowledgeable of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

Job Description:

Cloud Security Network Specialist will:

• Understand product offerings from Azure partners such as Equinix

• Review and analyze current network designs and suggest changes as well as provide modifications to support Azure connectivity

• Collaborate with project teams to understand and accommodate application architecture and the app’s specific requirements for Azure networking

• Deploy Azure networking configurations to include ExpressRoute and network peerings via PowerShell

• Work in partnership with the security team to understand and accommodate network security requirements for application

• Partner with the network engineering team to help them build and troubleshoot Azure networks

• Define network governance model within an infrastructure-as-code environment

• Provide innovative and practical designs that account for the end-to-end solution of a system that is in line with the business objectives, which could include the design of the functional architecture for multiple functions of the enterprise

• Analyze the chosen technologies against the implied target state and leverage deep operational knowledge to identify technical and business gaps

• Establish requirements and drive implementation of network monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management within the content of the overall Azure cloud implementation

• Help design and configure solutions in Azure using the following Azure Services: Azure Front Door, Traffic Manager, Service Bus, Application Gateways, API Management, etc.

• Provide operational and design skills to help execute the intended architecture in a secure and maintainable way on the Azure platform
