Job Description

The Business Analyst III provides analytical and project management support to various corporate and business line strategic initiatives according to established Company procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.

Job Requirements

•Project coordination and management

•Development of business requirements and "user stories" to meet business needs

•Logging and completion of project and compliance documentation to meet project and risk partner requirements

•Development and execution of test plans to ensure technology changes are implemented correctly

•Support change management through the development of communications and training materials

•Project reporting to ensure all business leaders and stakeholders are informed of project progress and key issues

•Works independently on complex initiatives with minimal supervision

•Communicate and present effectively to senior business leaders the ability to persuade and make strategic recommendations

•Identifies, develops, and maintains key linkages with business partners including the retail product management, retail distribution, commercial banking, support services and North American business partners such as TD Wealth Management, TD Ameritrade and TD Insurance.

•Resolves issues and problems by conferring with staff, management, other internal departments, outside contacts as necessary.

•Works cross-functionally as required to drive strategic initiatives and improve processes.

•Adds financial value to company by analyzing company data to identify and recommend initiatives that positively and materially impact the financial results of the company.

•Ability to remain flexible with shifting priorities and to function under tight deadlines with minimal supervision

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below

•3-5 Years of related experience

•Subject matter expertise in a variety of fraud supported businesses (claims, detection, analytics etc.)

•Excellent communication skills

•Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills

•Strong organizational follow-up and priority setting skills working independently or as part of a team

•Exceptional active listening skills

•Proven ability to meet deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects

•Proven ability to positively interact with all levels within the organization

•Knowledge of Project Management practices to support projects using both "waterfall" and "agile" methodologies
