Department Overview:

The Canadian Banking & Corporate Technology team is responsible for the technology portfolio supporting the following TD businesses and corporate segments:

Businesses:

  • Personal Banking & Canadian Cards

  • Business Banking

  • Enterprise Data & Analytics

  • Anti-Money Laundering

  • Financial Crimes & Fraud Management

Corporate segments:

  • Human Resources

  • Risk, Finance, Audit, Real Estate, Procurement/Strategic Sourcing Group

Job Description:

Associate Vice Presidents (AVPs) at TD Bank Group contribute to the overall reputation of TD. Reporting to the VP Enterprise Data Platforms, the AVP DaaS Product Group Technology Lead, Corporate is accountable for all relevant Data as a Services (DaaS) technology and delivery supporting TD's Corporate data solutions supporting enterprise functions (i.e Risk, Finance, GAML, Fraud, Marketing)

  • Provide strategy, vision and thought leadership to Business and IT Executives to improve data capabilities within Corporate Enterprise Technology in support of strategic business plans

  • Ensure Data Management capabilities to support Regulatory obligations meet or exceed expectations

  • Make it easier for TD Corporate Enterprise business partners to identify, acquire and leverage data relevant to their needs

  • Create and maintain sustainable data subject matter expertise for key sources within TD Corporate Enterprise functions

  • Proactively manage risk and compliance for DaaS technology supporting Corporate Enterprise functions

  • Develop and nurture IT talent for DaaS Technology, Canadian Banking and Corporate Technology (CBCT) TS and the Enterprise, including actionable succession plans and a strong bench

  • Consistently deliver on productivity and service targets
