Department Overview:

This position is on the Residential Appraisal Management Team and will support lending operations and sales.

Job Requirements:

  • Monitors and processes internal requests

  • Forwards bids to the Relationship Managers, engaging due diligence, tracking and reporting status, and distributing reports to the appropriate Appraisal Review Specialist

  • Requires significant interaction with Relationship Managers, Loan Closers, and appraisal vendors in addition to Appraisal Review Specialists, Section Managers and Chief Appraiser

  • Acts as a Company and Department resource for information and assistance with processes

  • Pays vendors for completed orders and processing fees

  • Completes compliance reviews in accordance with the Office of Controller of Currency (OCC) regulations

  • Maintains database with updates

  • Uses the web-based Encompass software to monitor lender submitted appraiser requests; review requests for completeness; obtain quotes from approved vendors; track and report status of orders and reassign technical reviews to the appropriate review specialist

  • Assists in the monitoring of department telephones

  • Prepares monthly reports for submission to management

  • Provides primary administrative assistance to Appraisal Section Manager

  • Performs appraisal compliance reviews to ensure conformance with USPAP and the Banks Appraisal Policy

  • Participates in special projects as required

Job Description:

The Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support for the Residential Appraisal Group and for coordinating appraisal order requests, performing appraisal compliance reviews and providing support to the lending teams.
