Overview:

The Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for ensuring overall service and/or department quality standards are met. Ensures adherence to set quality standards Coordinates and executes projects to attain Company and/or department objectives Identifies opportunities for process improvements to advance service quality and/or streamline functions Recommends and implements department training needs Maintains a working knowledge of company and/or department systems; assists with system implementation/conversion as needed Coordinates quality control and/or compliance activities Creates manuals, reports and documents and make updates as needed Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned Recommends, facilitates and/or coordinate Employee training.

Monitors employee and/or division performance to ensure compliance with department and/or company standards Contributes to a positive, ethical and respectful working environment and communicates openly with others Models company culture internally and externally Participates in meetings and coaching sessions Keeps staff informed of any procedural changes or enhancements

Provides support to department leadership in performing trend analysis, information gathering, performance feedback and related activities Customer Accountabilities: Understands and supports the Bank's Customer Service Strategy. Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

4-year degree or equivalent experience required

3+ years of SBA loan closing experience

Working knowledge of SBA, federal and state regulations and UCC and banking regulations

Excellent documentation skills

Excellent knowledge of Banking Systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Access and other Microsoft products

  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.

Job Description:

Depth & Scope:

Researches and/or applies experience and knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures to various transactional situations, adhering to both SBA eligibility and bank policy, with the ability to solve scenarios that impact loan structure

Manages a loan pipeline from origination through closing in accordance with Bank policies and procedures, as well as SBA Standard Operating Procedures

Provides documentation and Bank policy and procedure guidance to all lending areas

Reviews and approves searches and other required due diligence

Serves as a SBA resource to support departments

Works independently and handles loans of complex nature, ensuring all documentation is policy compliant and adheres to SBA guidelines

Generates and maintains loan requirements checklist; facilitates documentation from beginning to end of assignment

Establishes and manages relationships, as applicable, with Business Development Officers, Credit Management, operations teams and others, as needed

Acts as liaison with Bank Counsel, Compliance Dept, ABL, Derivatives, CREA, and other various parties to the loans, as needed

Ensures that all required loan conditions (insurance, collateral, etc.) are sufficient and properly documented in compliance with Bank policy

Ensures deadlines are met

Ensures loan documentation is complete and accurate. Addresses any exceptions

Partners with Closing Specialist team to ensure that loans are funded and booked accurately and timely

Participates in special projects and performs duties, as required
