Job Requirements:

•Establishes and manages a strategic approach to regulatory compliance

•Analyzes regulatory requirements (i.e. capital management requirements including CCAR and DFAST stress testing) and provides regulatory assessments to develop and implement detailed strategy, plans and risk identification processes to support the creation of enterprise wide policies and standards by effectively translating laws and regulations into operational functions and action steps for execution and compliance adherence

•Formulates, monitors & delivers reporting on TD regulatory compliance pertaining to US related risk & controls programs to a variety of audiences, including the regulators/examiners.

•Maintains an internal inventory of applicable U.S. laws and regulations.

•Collaborates in developing tools and solutions to manage the workflow and maintenance of applicable U.S. regulatory rules.

•Ensures regulatory rules are incorporated into appropriate compliance policies, standards, processes, training, and monitoring/testing activities.

•Promotes a risk-aware culture; ensures efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required enterprise standards and processes.

Job Description:

The Senior Analyst – Regulatory and Compliance Management is responsible for, under the direction of the Director of Documentation, the identification and assessment or regulatory risks and the execution of procedures to evaluate TD Bank's Data Management compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards. The Senior Analyst – Regulatory and Compliance Management will develop and execute strategies for closing management compliance gaps as well as advising Business Segments and Corporate Functions ("BS/CF") on policies and standards adherence processes.

Qualifications:

•Guides, develops and monitors TD Bank BS/CFs compliance testing strategies and methodologies to ensure adherence to the enterprise policies and standards.

•Bachelor’s Degree required,

•3-5 years related experience required; preferably in regulatory/financial services,

•Experience at a large financial institution performing legal, compliance, or other duties such as risk management and/or project management,

•Experience interacting with financial services regulatory bodies; preferably Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)

•Knowledge of U.S. Regulatory Requirements (laws, rules, regulations and guidance)

•Knowledge of Enterprise Data Management Ability to work independently, think critically, make decisions and manage deadlines while multi-tasking between competing priorities

•Ability to analyze a problem and determine the root cause

•Ability to operate in an evolving, often ambiguous, environment

•Excellent communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively at senior levels

•Excellent Regulatory Change Management experience

•Superior written communication skills, including drafting reports, policies and standards

•High degree of organizational awareness

•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required

•Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Access an asset

•Experience working in both a technical and business context; able to translate technical concepts into easy to understand business language
