Job Requirements:

•\tResponsible for establishing department the policies and procedures policies that govern the ordering and review of consultant prepared due diligence.

•\tManages the engagement process for consultant prepared Plan & Cost Reviews, Property Condition Assessments, and Construction Progress Inspection reports.

•\tReviews Plan & Cost Reviews, Property Condition Assessments and Construction Progress Inspection reports for accuracy and quality. May be called upon to periodically perform inspections and/or coordinate with outside architects and engineers who may be used on a contract basis to perform complex and large-scale inspections. Reviews with the Construction Loan Supervisor construction loan draw requests based on the results of inspections on an as-needed basis.

•\tManage department workflow and assigns tasks to employees. Responsible for documenting the quality of work performed by employees through the completion of quality control reviews and ensuring internal reviews meet minimum performance standards.

•\tResponsible for managing list of approved vendors and maintaining quality of all construction related due diligence.

•\tWhere issues related to real estate funding guidelines arise, works directly with the Manager of the Real Estate Loan Administration and Lending/Credit Officers to resolve issues or conflicts in a timely fashion.

•\tRecommends to the Line of Business corrective action for structural, mechanical, or site defects identified in inspection reports.

•\tThe department engages approved venders through the use of the RIMS platform. Although no prior knowledge of RIMS is required, a working knowledge is necessary following the provided training.



Job Description:

Engages construction consultants and reviews all cost estimation and construction inspection related reports for new loans, managed non-accrual, and other real estate owned properties. Orders and reviews property conditions assessments in accordance with policy and procedures. Assists the business line in resolving issues related to construction matters, including, construction delays and cost-over runs. Responsible for generating department reports (volume, staffing model, vendor activity, etc.) for executive management.

• 4 year Degree or equivalent experience

•\t10+ Years of related experience

•\tMust have a good mathematical aptitude, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously

•\tDemonstrated work experience in the building trades or real estate development area also highly desirable

•\tMust have the ability to utilize computer spreadsheet and analysis systems, and have computer knowledge for construction systems

•\tMust have the ability to travel within range of required servicing territory

•\tStrong leadership skills and the ability train/coach department staff
