Job Requirements:

Undergraduate degree

Relevant Change Management Accreditations are an asset

Graduate degree is an asset

7+ years related experience, working in a project environment, in large organizations

Advanced knowledge of change management principles, industry best practices, lines of businesses supported, project management, organization practices, business culture(s) and business transformation

Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends

Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership

Ability to forecast initiatives and demand in order to help develop annual strategic plan

Ability to establish goals and objectives that support the strategic plan

Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives

Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations and mitigation

Skill in preparing and managing budgets and resource allocation

Skill in mentoring, coaching and performance management

Skill in using software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques

Skill in using computer applications including MS Office

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

Ability to manage through ambiguity to align to vision of initiatives.

Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships across teams and functions

Highly preferred experience:

• At least 5 years' experience in banking change initiatives

Previous experience supporting change initiatives and/or projects within TD America's Most Convenient Bank (AMCB)

• At least 8-10 years' experience in leading and delivering Change Management initiatives, projects or programs.

• Experience in business case development and analysis

Deep experience designing comprehensive change strategies (including Communications, Engagement, Training, Business Readiness and Sustainment plans) in support of large, complex initiatives.



Job Description:

As a leader in AMCB Shared Services Enablement's (SSE) Change Management Center of Excellence (COE), you will plan, organize, execute, and measure change strategies for large, complex transformation programs. You will partner with executive sponsors and transformation teams to adapt proven practices in change management to fit with program goals and organizational environments. You will serve as the Change Management Lead for one or more strategic change initiatives, able to independently lead matrixed change management teams. Your change leadership will accelerate capture of program benefits, including rapid adoption of new ways of working and improved employee engagement.

This position will specialize in leading change through various business initiatives . These initiatives require experience in analyzing organizational impacts of changes to complex business processes and recommending targeted change strategies to successfully implement activities within targeted timeframes that lead to a desired target state. Key initiatives may be related to enterprise programs, Consumer and/or Commercial Lending, regulatory compliance, technology integrations, business transformations, digitization efforts and/or related business drivers.

The Senior Manager, Change Management oversees and/or leads change management efforts and all related activities through a team of Change Analysts and/or Specialists, provides direction and coaching to develop the skills and capabilities required to drive the quality of work products. Also provides advice and guidance to a broad range of stakeholders on how to leverage strategic change management principles to support benefits realization for the program / project / initiatives, manage risks/issues and contribute to a positive stakeholder experience.

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required

Oversees and leads a large and/or highly complex and diverse reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career goals, support project / initiative success and achieve business results

Recognized as top level expert within the company and requires significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in their in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

Acts as the change management lead on highly complex projects / programs / initiatives

Provides coaching, mentorship and guidance to practitioners, business, executives within area of expertise

Manages and oversees the overall discipline and strategy for the respective areas while aligning to the enterprise best practices

Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external / internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management / enterprise areas

Facilitates key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience (output may include strategic roadmap and/or deliverables/ frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)

Sets operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals

Work horizon focuses on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)
