Job Requirements:

•\tResponsible for identification of internal and external credit risks within the more specialized or complex Commercial loan portfolios and lending segments

•\tDesign a portfolio monitoring plan that is flexible and robust to ensure coverage of significant risks that may impact the quality and collectability of the lending portfolios they are responsible for

•\tPrepares portfolio monitoring reports on a quarterly or semi-annual basis depending upon the amount of portfolio risk

•\tPeriodically leads a commercial credit review managing the examination process and a team

•\tAct as the primary point of contact and build relationships with assigned business lines

•\tCommunicates independently with Executive Management and adds value through direct consultative interactions with Sr. business line management regarding portfolio metrics and trends

•\tAttend and participate (where appropriate) various committees and/or sub-committees that may impact the credit granting activities of the Bank i.e. Asset Quality Committee, Problem Loan Management, GCRM, etc

•\tMeets with Sr. Management on Action Plans and Resolutions of Key Issues

•\tProvides subject matter expertise on areas of responsibility to other team members, including the leadership team

•\tContribute to the preparation of Loan Review, Senior Management, and Board level reporting

•\tAssist with the design, promotion, and implementation of process changes and strategic initiatives to maximize departmental effectiveness and efficiency

Job Description:

The Loan Review Portfolio Monitoring Group Manager is responsible to collect, analyze, and report on key credit and loan portfolio characteristics on the more complex commercial portfolios. The job assesses the timely recognition of weaknesses that may exist in the Bank’s various loan portfolios and will need to continually balance the scope and timing of the team activities against business strategies, emerging trends, and outside factors that may affect or alter the risk to the Bank. The Portfolio Monitoring Group Manager will make critical and tactical decisions using available resources and various sophisticated analytical tools to produce maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and penetration of portfolio data. This job reports directly to the Director, Commercial Portfolio Management.

Qualifications:

•\t4 Year Degree required

•\tAdvanced degree preferred

•\t15 + years related experience required in lending, Commercial/corporate lending, Regulatory or Credit Administration

•\tCommercial Credit Training

•\tAbility to demonstrate “executive presence” and build effective relationships

•\tSkilled multi-takser and ability to quickly and effectively manage demanding, competing priorities for self and others

•\tStrong proven credit skills
