JOB DESCRIPTION

How You Will Contribute

The successful candidate will support Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst with the following:

  • Proactively manage business stakeholders to obtain inputs needed for product development in a timely manner and actively communicate changes and priorities to Business, Technology and Senior Management.

  • Facilitate conversations with multiple stakeholders to obtain feedback for backlog management where competing priorities may exist.

  • Participate in Scrum or Kanban events (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives) to express new ideas for improving product value or delivery efficiency and share with leadership as appropriate.

  • Monitor and keep abreast of emerging issues, trends and evolving changes to the business, industry and competitive environments and partner with the senior management to consider impacts or changes to product strategy as needed.

  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.

  • Proactively raise issues that impede the efficient delivery of customer-focused increments, and proactively engage business process partners to ensure customers and/or colleagues are prepared for all changes

  • Bringing a high level of verbal and interpersonal communication skills to relate to other business and technology partners

  • Sourcing innovative solutions for intricate and difficult situations through strong resource and problem-solving abilities

  • Establish and maintain standards for consistent dashboard and reporting formats

  • Demonstrate strong initiative, and use strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each initiative, project, or team you are assigned to.

  • Participate as part of a team with targeted deliverables, working on initiatives designed to improve decisions, processes, systems, and applications which support our key businesses.

What You Bring to TD

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate technology and/or business-related degree, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business Technology Management, Information Technology Management, or Technology Sciences

  • A curiosity and passion in both business and technology

  • Creative market research and analysis abilities in order to stay current with trends relating to FinTechs and new technologies

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Experience presenting data / information to tell a story both visually and creatively

  • Exceptional Excel / data management skills

  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to develop good relationships with business partners and stakeholders

  • General technical understanding Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and working experience with SharePoint
