Job Description

The Senior Auditor is accountable for providing specialized in-depth audit expertise and responsible for contributing to the planning, risk assessment and execution of audits and/or related processes enterprise and/or division wide.

Job Requirements

•Perform routine and complex audits of controls, records, and operations

•May develop tests for routine audits

•Execute audit tests in alignment with GAM and IIA standards

•Work at direction of Grade 10 (AIC)

•Complete findings follow up tasks under supervision of audit management

•May review peer audit documentation

•Completes Post Audit Feedback Form for self upon completion of the audit

•Communicate status and escalate issues to the AIC

•Participate in post-audit critique meeting

•Developing skills to build and maintain relationships within, and external to, audit

•Demonstrate TD leadership Core Values

•Recognize team members' contributions

•Participate in, and actively support implementation of department improvement initiatives

•Developing skills in building and maintaining relationships within and external to audit

Qualifications

•4 year degree

•2+ years of related experience

•PC skills (MS Office Suite)

•Fundamental oral and written communication skills

•Fundamental level of critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills

•Travel 25%

•Work well independently and on teams

•Complete tasks timely and accurately

•Escalate issues and delays quickly

•Respond to shifting priorities

•Developing risk based decision-making skills

•Fundamental awareness of laws and regulations governing the banking industry assigned business

•Proficient functional audit knowledge and skills

•Developing knowledge in assigned subject matter area.

•Relevant certification preferred

•Effectively manage competing priorities for self

•Assists with various projects/division initiatives as needed
