Department Overview

The Strategy & Operational Excellence (S&OE) is a Center of Excellence focused on applying discipline and capabilities to accelerate Shared Services' journey to being Legendary. The S&OE Metrics and Business Intelligence team is responsible for developing reporting and business intelligence solutions to enable informed decision making, support performance management, and identify process improvement opportunities to drive Shared Services' business forward in a centralized, efficient and effective manner.

Job Description

The Sr. BI & Reporting Analyst will have an excellent opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the Shared Services organization. He/she will be have an opportunity to leverage technology to create efficient and effective reporting processes, develop dashboards and business intelligence tools designed to provide relevant insights to our multiple partners. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a positive ‘can do’ approach, who thrives on leading change as a critical member of a cutting edge team and employer of choice.

•Work independently as the senior analyst / subject matter expert and may provide technical support to others

•Requires advanced knowledge of reporting and BI platforms, tools and techniques, and ability to effectively leverage it to support diverse reporting and BI functions

•Considered a subject matter expert within a given area

•Expert knowledge of all main data sources for the data used within the business unit and ability to effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposes

•May be expected to have a knowledge of broader enterprise reporting platforms and data sources and ability to integrate data across the enterprise

•May be expected to present to senior management or executives

•Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end

•Generally focus on broad range of moderately complex issues that may span from short to medium term (e.g. monthly-quarterly),

Job Requirements

•Undergraduate degree or technical certificate

•5+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background

•Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of PC based analytical and reporting software packages, such as SAS/SQL and Tableau

•Proficient experience knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports

•Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions

•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
